Guatemalan Linguistic Center
Presentation
You will be able to live the Guatemalan Culture in all its aspects. The school is located in Quetzaltenango, the best city in Latin America to learn Spanish. Our instructors will provide you with all the tools of the language, so that you can express yourself correctly in oral and written form.
You will be part of a big family at the Linguistic Center. You will be able to participate in our cultural, social, and volunteer projects, and other events oriented to form enrichment through cultural exchange.
The school is located in Zone 1 of Quetzaltenango in the historic center of the city, close to Parque Calvario; one of the oldest and most traditional neighborhoods of the city.
Our school was founded by a collective of Spanish instructors with more than 10 years of experience in teaching foreign students, with the best methodology applied in teaching.

Schedule
Our Schedule
In the Linguistic Center we offer a flexible study schedule of five hours daily. The classes are from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM or from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Also, it's possible to study more or less hours depending on your preference.
Prices
Our program has a cost of US$160 per week, which includes:
- Five hours of classes one on one from Monday to Friday.
- Seven days of a home stay with a Quetzaltenango family including: breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, private room and hot shower.
- Access to our school's large library (includes books on medicine, literature, economics, politics, and business) for use in and outside of the school.
- Daily activities, conferences, events and tours.
- Travel and weekend trips: Beaches, archaeological sites, etc. (Transport and food not included).
- Free access to high speed internet.
- Opportunity to help through volunteer work.
The cost of the program without a family is US$115 per week.
Educational Material
The material used by the teachers is supplied by the school, including grammatical text books, history books, Latin American and world literature, political and economic texts, films, documentaries, and interactive games.
Also we work from the Guatemalan Linguistic Center handbook of learning, which was formed from both the collective experience of the instructors and from a great deal of research.
